Wow, I am impressed that you got to it so quickly! I told you it wasn’t a big deal to set it up. I notice that the time stamp is off as well…is that because your computer is off?

Good Morning! Looks great! Under the “Archives”, if I click on “April 2008″, I see what I think is your first post “Hello World”. I’m wondering why that does not show on the first page. Or, maybe you have two posts, with the second post just being the pictures and the youTube link? I’ll check back later to see your “work in progress”! Have a great day!

Wow, call me impressed as well! (Your mother just called – go to bed!)

Does the square in Elaine’s reply mean she could have her photo there, or perhaps an identifying thumbnail?

Just finished reading the online article on the MSN homepage from Newsweek on the Pope. Very informative; a lot of historical info on the popes and a good summation of what Newsweek feels is this Pope’s potential as a unifier between Muslims and the world.

BTW, would have loved to come to Theology on Tap but must do PSR. Any chance you will do this talk at the parish???

Thanks again for your input at the meeting. It looks like we are making some real progress.

Where did this come from? Is this going to be published on the St. Barnabas website?

    I say…evangelize!

Wow! a lot of responses to field already:) LOL

click on the little box and you can upload your photo like a thumbnail.

I’ll play around with this for the next week or so and then see if we think it should “go live’

Do you think we could use the Communications Commission to get press passes to go see the POPE?

Now that you impressed everyone, how do you feel about the updates needed?

I think that we could see the Pope easily, provided you could supply each of us with the correct vestments! You would be a great Cardinal!

Not a bad start! BTW, please feel free to share your mastery of the blog “universe” with Sr. Cordell and Big Daddy Treat so the NYV site could kick-it-up-a-notch.

    Hi Fr. and everyone,
The homily yesterday at noon Mass (10/19/08) was beyond AWESOME! Thank you for that. I needed to hear these things. Sometimes you can feel so politically disenfranchised from the pressures from the media–pounding it in that we must separate church and state–they’d like us to vote against everything we believe and know is right, but just as we live our beliefs, we must vote them.
Fr. Mike–just another example of doing the right thing, and helping us see the light.
    Thank you.

    Fr-
Could you put up the link to the book or Cardinal you referenced yesterday at noon Mass (10/19)?

  19. October 20, 2008 4:55 pm

Dear Laura G. I added a new tab for Homily with the link to the book. Thanks for your affirmation and feedback. Praise God!

Hey Fr. Michael, I learned that Thursday, June 25th, Wm. Paul Young, the author of “The Shack,” will be at First Congregational Church of Akron, for two presentations, at 1:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15, with a Q & A session, and book signing to follow.

You can go to http://www.akronfcc.com, and follow the links.
Let me know if you plan to attend. I think my sister and I are going to the 1 p.m. presentation.
